Some gossip hot off the press. I talked to the fine lady at Omega and asked her which watch will be featuring in Bond 25, she said she didn’t have a scooby. But more than likely they’ll tie it in with the Seamaster 300’s 60th anniversary. So another Seamaster, yawn.

News from Bremont; they only have a certain amount of the Kingsman Secret Service watches left and won’t be able to flog them after July because Tag are coming in for the sequel and they don’t want to cross the streams. Apparently Tag are onboard because it ties in with the plot – the protagonist needed to read an electronic message on his watch and Bremont only do chronographs. However, director Vaughn not realising Bremont don’t do electronic, will bring Bremont back in for the third instalment, such is his fondness for the brand. When I asked if they’ll do a firesale on the Kingsman watches before July, I was told they’ll probably just take out the movements and put them in different watches.

Bit dark but this is the Kingsman watch featured in the film The one Colin Firth fires a dart out of.
