DAY #6 NO BOOZE
More bleeding fry ups.
And more bleedin fry up pics. But I’m actually quite enjoying them. I feel like Bear Grylls going out to the herb pot each morning and purging the chives and basil.
The banana smoothies are going down rather too well with strawberry and honey which tells me that I’m fucking cheating. My body is not missing the sugar so something must be up. Anyway, I’ll figure all that out later. Right now I’m not drinking booze and I ain’t messing with candy, crisps, biscuits, galaxy bars etc.
I’m reading this diet book called the Viva Mayr Diet that the missus leant my Mother. I’m not into diets, but I’m curious to know what kind of crap I should be eating. So far it says Spelt bread all day, green tea and no raw after 4.
At the minute I’m trying to tweak a good smoothie recipe. This green things was a fucking disaster. I bunged in all the left overs from the fry up and it came out like soup. Tried 3 different blenders an’ all. So a little tip, if you’re going to do this detox thing, maybe get the ingredients and the right blenders for the right job.
I got this hand plunge blender that’s about twenty years old. Perfect for bananas, shit for anything else.
There’s sod all juice in a carrot, haven’t figured out what to do with those yet.
Same with broccoli. Broccoli is just thinking ‘Why are you bothering? I’m not cut out for this shit. Eat me like a fucking man why don’t you?’
Last thing I want to mention is what a swizz these Co-Op nuts are. Thought I was eating all healthy until I checked the sugar levels. I may as well have eaten those Jaffa cakes it has the same amount of sugar in them. Bastards.
Anyway, time for an alcohol quote rather than a fact. Pulled this from a Vogue article.
