Last weekend in Nene Valley Railway. I’ll be writing all about this beautiful place and it’s relationship with the James Bond franchise on my other blog, From Tailors With Love.

Since that day it’s rained non-stop and I’ve barely got the camera out.

I’ve spent most of the week in-doors with Roger and the cats. Manya (pictured below) may look like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth, but she has yet to take one single dump in a designated cat tray. Of which, there are 3.

In business news, I was asked if I could make an appearance on channel 5’s The Gadget Show. As the deal was being finalised, I was told that a ‘hair vlogger’ crucial to the feature couldn’t be reached because he was on holiday. He gave implicit instructions to his manager ‘not to be disturbed under any circumstances’. The deal fell through sadly.

People have zero hustle.

It’s systemic. The feet-up culture. Do you think Elon Musk has a ‘I’ll be back in two weeks’ auto-response on his email? I also love it when I hear about bloggers needing to recharge. Try chipping off frozen bark from willow trees for 5 years straight.

Yes I did that. Don’t regret it, sometimes miss it.

Talking of feet up, Roger is now cocking his leg on lampposts. He is currently 6.7kg. He is trying to bugger anything that moves.

Apologies for the lack of news or witticisms this week. Blame the weather.
