Where to stay in Florence?
Thinking of going to Florence but unsure where to stay?
Where’s the best place to stay that’s central but not too pricey?
Guys ever wondered why we even have nipples?
Sorry I digress.
Located on the fourth floor of an ancient palace dating from the nineteenth century, you will find the Hotel Pendini.
Completely renovated in 2010, the hotel is a stones throw away from the Uffizi Gallery, the Fountain of Neptune (although that is currently being renovated at the time of writing) and the extremely photogenic Ponte Vecchio.
See the view from Ponte Vecchio in our Decisive Moments Feature.
is a family run hotel, the manager speaks a dozen languages and all the kitchen staff look happy to be there. There is a huge telephone in the room and a an impressive chaise lounge that dominates one side of the room.
There’s enough amenities to wash your pants. So I did. There’s also a place to hang your wet under crackers thanks to a convenient drying cord you can pull from the shower wall. Nice touch.
Downside: I don’t remember seeing a kettle. I might be wrong and please correct me in the comments bar below. The concierge could have done with smiling a bit more. Felt like saying to her, ‘Smile love, and the world will smile with you!‘
I’d recommend the Pendini Hotel in Florence, we stayed for 3 nights and it included brekkie for £400. Prices may vary according to season.
Okay so now I want to hear from you. Have you been to this hotel? Do you wash your pants in the sink? Do you know why we men need nipples? Comment in the box below. Click on any of the images to follow Human Research on Pinterest. Or don’t, up to you.
