Do you see yourself as an influencer?
Although I believe someone can be an influencer regardless of the amount of followers they have, I definitely do not feel like one.
I Love the platform that Instagram is and all the possibilities though.
What’s the best and worst thing about Instagram?
The best definitely is that I had the opportunity to meet a lot of cool people that I would of not have met otherwise.
The worst is that you are exposing yourself and it could be kind of vulnerable at times.
Instagram overall is such an amazing creative outlet for so many and I do believe it’s an empowering tool.
What makes a great photo for you? How do you vet the pictures that go on your feed?
A great photo? Lighting, of course. Since I live California, the land of everlasting sunshine, I have learned that the photos that work for me are the ones I take in the late afternoon or really early in the morning.
I always aim for more candid shoots as well as an outfit that goes with the background lol. To know what photos go well with my feed, I use the UNUM app and I edit with Light room and sometime VSCO.
Where do you shop for clothes? The brands you’d most like to collaborate with?
I recently discovered this store called Style Mafia and I am in looove with their pieces at this moment. On the regular, my go to stores are: Zara, Mangos, Storets and Free People.
I also live For Love and Lemons, their pieces are so feminine. For vintage items, I shop at Shop Girl LA and random thrift stores. I only invest in designer pieces when it comes to shoes and purses and I hardly do.
I would love to collaborate with For love and Lemons, Free people, Flynn skye, Reformation, they fit my style quite well.
Who are your style icons?
Definitely, Steve Nicks. I have always loved her. On the other side of the spectrum, I adore Olivia Palermo. She is always so polished and classy and don’t get me started with Olivia Culpo.
What do you look for in a man when it comes to style? What are your main put offs?
Mhhh… it really depends. Overall, I like a man that takes pride in his appearance. A well groomed man that looks confident with whatever his style is.
I prefer them to wear clothing that is their actual size so nothing baggy and I find details very sexy like when a man wears a nice watch. My pet peeve is when a guy wears pants that are falling off.
How much do you get asked out on social media versus real life?
On social Media people are more shameless and brave somehow so I definitely get asked out more in social media vs real life.
What’s next for you? The next big project?
I have a lot of trips planned for next year so definitely a photo tour of my favourite places coming up haha. For the long term, I have a project regarding fashion and history so stay tuned for that.
